CHAPTER 10

NetID E-Mail Account

There are times when we need to give your information or you need to send information, and a telephone call or a letter is not possible. KSU offers an electronic email account called "NetID" for all enrolled students who have paid their tuition and fees paid in full. This is a way for you to send messages campuswide, locally, nationally and internationally.

When you join any student organizations, i.e. ISA, AASA, make sure you give them your email address. Some membership applications have a space for this information.

Your email account also gives you access to the ISONET (International Students On The Net). Make sure you include your account number on your ISA application. You can also email the ISA officers or the Coordinator of International Student Retention Services, Charmayne B. Richardson (crichard@kennesaw.edu), and give your email number. Let them know you want to be added to the ISONET list.

You can save money and stay in touch with friends and family by getting an email number. Also, you may have already found that some of your instructors are putting assignments on the electronic mail system.
