It is a little known fact that each year, a significant amount of
scholarship money, designated for minority students, goes untapped due lack
of knowledge of the existence of these resources, and initiative to pursue
them. The S.O.S. program, formerly Linkages, is a service that informs
minority students about scholarships, internships, grants, and other
resources to supplement the increasing cost of education. Most of the
information on scholarships and internships is distributed electronically.
