"I chose KSU because it gave me a sense of belonging. The welcoming atmosphere of the university immediately attracted me, and the opportunities in the Atlanta area are endless! I will graduate the Spring of 2016." - Marcus Allen

"During my senior year in high school, a former student of Kennesaw State University allowed me to stay on campus with her for a weekend. I fell in love with KSU ever since then.  I graduated from high school, and I made it a mission to attend Kennesaw State University. I will graduate from KSU in 2016." - Marika Blackman

"I chose KSU because it was a school that seemed like it would present a lot of opportunities. As a Native American, I would still be a minority anywhere I went, but KSU is so inclusive that I don't feel alone here. I'll be graduating in May 2017." - Raven Lewis

"The reason why I chose KSU as a minority was because KSU gives an excellent representation of how the "real world" is. By the real world I am referring to the diverse world of cultures we all share. Although I do have great respect for these institutes, HBCU's don't offer students the same opportunity as KSU therefore they graduate from college and are "culture shocked" once they find careers. So I decided to choose a school that not only offered a great college experience and the degree I chose to pursue, but also a place that would fully prepare me mentally for a successful transition between college and my career." - Caleb Seales

"Kennesaw invited me to a real world learning environment where I had to live and interact with people of all different backgrounds. Through volunteer projects, internships, and clubs I gained great networks and unforgettable experiences. Learning from people around the world, with people from around the world at Kennesaw was a glimpse into the reality of my future. " - Robert Philizaire

"After being accepted to both Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University, I decided to tour both schools. At the closing of both tours, my mind was made up and my decision was KSU by a long shot. I hadn't previously known about KSU as I had GSU, but when I visited, the way the students interacted with me and the campus feeling that I got, it was by far an easy decision. I enjoyed off the bat how nice everyone was, how easy the system was, and how beautiful the campus (including the dorms) were. I have had no regrets." - Jamel Williams

"I chose KSU mainly because of its proximity to my first place of residence in Georgia. When I visited the campus for the first time in September 2009, I was extremely impressed with its natural beauty hence I knew that KSU was where I belong. I will graduate in July 2014." - Peter Anderson
