Information for Students
Volunteer Kennesaw State University has a variety of volunteer opportunitie. Some of the volunteer services
you might provide include:
- work in a shelter
- help build a Habitat for Humanity house
- prepare food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas
- tutor an at-risk child who needs one-on-one help
- give a blood donation to help save lives
Volunteer Registration Process
- Check the Volunteer Service
Agency Directory or VKSU Volunteer Service
Programs and select an agency or program that you want to
discuss with a VKSU assistant.
- Print and complete the Volunteer Application Form (pdf and Word versions). Application forms are also available in the VKSU office,
Student Center 264.
- Deliver the completed application form to VKSU, Student Center
264, during our regular business hours.
- VKSU assistants will provide you with information on the volunteer
agency you have selected or provide volunteer options in your interest
area. You will receive a Service Verification Form to document your volunteer hours.
- After completion of service, both the volunteer and the agency
complete the Service Verification Form and the volunteer returns the form to the VKSU office.
