The KSU Department of Student Life provides this page as a service to KSU students, as well as KSU offices seeking student assistants. It is the student's responsibility to contact the sponsoring office or department to verify availability and to apply for positions.

The federal minimum wage is $5.85/hour. KSU Student Assistants, in most cases, are paid $5.85/hour, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are hired, you cannot be paid until you have completed the new hire orientation process. Orientation is scheduled by Human Resources. Student orientation sessions are on Wednesdays ONLY from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Please call Human Resources at 770-423-6030 to register for the session and reserve your spot.

All student assistants employed through the Federal Work-Study program must first complete paperwork in the Office of Financial Aid before attending orientation session. You should also complete the online Work-Study application, available at the Office of Student Finalncial Aid Website. The necessary Online Work-Study application is available in the right menu.

When: Beginning May 27, 2008
Schedule/When needed: Split hours some days with combination of 8 hr days between 8 am to 5 pm. Will be able to work around school schedule
Skills required/desired: Strong customer service skills, multi-tasking, punctuality, professionalism and the ability to work flexible schedules. Must have proficient computer skills and working knowledge of the Kennesaw Library.

When:  Immediately for Summer semester. 
Schedule: 15 hours per week between 8:00-5:00, M-F.  Will work around your class schedule. Must be enrolled at least 6 hours for Summer semester.
