 GCPA 2010 Program Proposal
“Achieving Excellence, Transforming Lives”

It is with great excitement that I invite you to submit a proposal for the 41st annual GCPA Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia from February 24-26, 2010. The theme for the conference is “Achieving Excellence, Transforming Lives” and we know that the possibilities for great proposals in support of this theme are endless. We have identified four critical areas of importance under this theme:

  • Achieving Excellence through Strategic Planning in Student Affairs
  • Best Practices for Viability and Sustainability in Student Affairs
  • Inclusive Excellence and the Quest for Diversity in Higher Education
  • Cultivating Senior Student Affairs Officers and the Next Generation of Student Affairs Professionals at Colleges and Universities

We encourage you to engage the theme in your program proposal. The selection committee will use a variety of criteria to evaluate your proposal submission including the following:

- Engages the conference theme and at least one of the critical areas
- States clearly outlined goals and objectives
- Uses a theoretical or experiential lens

Please fill out all information on this form to be considered in the program proposal evaluation process. All proposals must be received by December 11, 2009 at 11:59pm.
