EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT

The Equipment Checkout Desk is located at room 136 in the Student Recreation & Wellness Center. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni may checkout a variety of equipment. Outdoor recreation equipment is also available for rent. Check out our list of equipment below.

A valid KSU ID is required to checkout equipment. Alumni must have an Alumni Association Membership Card and a picture ID.

Patrons take full responsibility of the equipment they checkout or rent. Equipment must be returned on time or a fine of $2 per day per item will be charged and a hold will be placed on the student’s registration until the late fee or replacement fee is paid. Patrons will also lose their privilege of checking out more equipment. If the equipment cannot be returned, patron will need to reimburse the Intramural & Recreation Services Office the amount necessary to replace the piece(s) of equipment. Check with the Equipment Checkout Desk for replacement cost information. Patrons should allow themselves at least 15 minutes to have the equipment thoroughly inspected when returning equipment.

Outdoor Recreation Equipment Rental Rates & Deposit:

Rental rates are based on a weekly fee. No discounts for renting less than a week. Late fee will begin the first day after the predetermined return date. All payments must be in the form of cash or check. Checks are to be made payable to “KSU Intramurals”. Separate payment required for deposit and rental fee. The deposit will be returned to the patron if all equipment is returned in good condition.

Outdoor Recreation equipment rental I agree that I am solely responsible for the return of this equipment and its condition upon return. Equipment must be returned on time or a fine of $2 per day per item will be charged. If for whatever reason, I do not return this equipment, I agree to reimburse the IRS office the full amount necessary for replacement. Further, I understand that I will also be asked to pay any required repair cost, due to my negligence or improper use of this equipment. Failure to meet these above conditions may result in the withholding of grades and/or transcripts or delays of future registration in the case of outstanding obligation and forfeiture of checking out and/or renting equipment in the future.

Special Equipment Checkout:
Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and campus departments may checkout select equipment for events. This select equipment is only available to RSOs and campus departments:
