Kennesaw State Lost & Found Services

KSU has multiple lost & found locations, but the main one is maintained by the Department of Student Life.

FOUND ITEMS

Found items should be taken to the Department of Student Life, located in the student center, Room 274.
Street address:
Room 274, MD#0501
395 Cobb Ave NW
Kennesaw, GA 30144

If possible, let us know the time and location where the item was found.

REPORTING A LOST ITEM

There are two ways to report an item lost at KSU:

>> Online
Our online Lost & Found Form (housed in OwlLife. You will need to login with your NetID) is the easiest and most efficient way to report lost items.
If you have lost eyeglasses, visit the Lost and Found office as these items are too numerous and non-descriptive to determine ownership without visual confirmation. Keys without an identifiable key fob, ring or chain will also require visual confirmation. During business hours, key and eyeglass bins are available for customers to search through. Please do not complete a Lost & Found Form for these items.

>> Office Visit
The main Lost and Found is maintained by the Department of Student Life, located in the student center, Room 274. For a list of all lost & found locations, click here (a Word document).

HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm; Closed Sat/Sun.

IMPORTANT!
• You will only be contacted if a match is found for your item. Repeated visits, calls or email to our office will not help the process work more efficiently. If you are not contacted, it means that your item was not recovered.
• Student Life maintains the main Lost & Found service, but not the only one. Many buildings on campus have their own areas for lost and found. A listing of these locations may be downloaded here (a Word document).
• Lost items are held for at least one semester whenever possible. After this time, unclaimed items may be destroyed, disposed of, or donated to charity.

For items of value, you are also strongly encouraged to contact the KSU Police and file a report at 470-578-6206.
