OUR MEDIA

Kennesaw State Student Media is the umbrella for 5 student media organizations: The Sentinel, Talon, Share, KSU OWL Radio, and the New Media Group.

The Sentinel, the weekly newspaper, is published every Tuesday in broadsheetformat. Click here for advertising and promotion information.

Talon is KSU's student feature magazine.

Share, the University's literary/art magazine, provides a publishing outlet for the creative talents of KSU students.

The New Media Group provides experience in multi-media activities relevant to the electronic media, including web pages and streaming, mediated presentation, and convergence issues. We handle all student media web sites and will be assisting RSOs as well.

OWL Radio, Our student run Internet radio station, has been broadcasting live since July 2007.

Applications for Editor in Chief/top management are being accepted for 2008-2009. The application is here.

In addition, we also publish the KSU Student Handbook & Daily Planner, house the KSU Student Media Board, and coordinate the newspaper's Alumni pages:

KSU Student Handbook & Daily Planner - This handy spiral-bound book, with information and calendar events for the entire year is available free of charge (while supplies last) at the Card Services Center, the Information Booth, and the Student Life Center. The current book is also available online in PDF format.

The KSU Student Media Board is a standing committee comprised of students, faculty and staff. They act as a liaison between student media and KSU's many communities. Among their duties is the selection of editors.
