The Sentinel Newspaper Press Release Form

Guidelines
This is a standard press release form for individuals or organizations to submit items to the Kennesaw State Sentinel newspaper, including the online and weekly email editions. There is no charge for news items. Advertisements and business/product promotions will not be printed; click here for Sentinel advertising information.

The decision to print any submission is completely at the discretion of the student editorial board, not the newspaper adviser(s) or KSU staff. Submissions must include a contact name and phone number. Anonymous announcements may not be printed. The Sentinel reserves the right to edit all submissions.

Deadlines
The Sentinel welcomes submissions, including photographs, to all departments. The deadline for submissions is Monday noon, eight (8) days before publication (Tuesdays). In general, please submit items as early as possible. Feel free to submit preliminary information, then update as more details become available. Click here for a current publication schedule.

Photos
Photos are encouraged with Press Releases. Color and black-and-white photographs are accepted. Photographs should be submitted in either a .jpg or .tif format of at least 100K in size. For example, a color photo 2 x 4 inches at 200 dpi saved at medium quality. Photos are not always published. Email photos to photos@ksumedia.com. Please include cutline information (who, what, when, where, why, how).
