KSU RSO Website Request
KSU is in the early stages of implementing an online database called CollegiateLink, a platform that will allow student leaders to centralize paperwork, manage rosters, handle elections, among other tools. From organization specific websites, photo galleries, election tools, and social media integration, organization officers can focus on growing their RSO. But because we aren't sure of the timeline, we're offering short-term solutions until we do.
Until CollegiateLink is up and running, you have three options of various levels of difficulty:
VERY EASY: Do nothing. Wait until CollegiateLink is in place. Until then, at least give us your Facebook page, Twitter account, or something to connect to your listing on the RSO page.
EASY: Use one of the may free Browser-based services. We're impressed with Wix.com (KAB and SGA both use it), but there are others out there as well (SnapPages, Weebly, WordPress, etc). Your group can have a site up in less than an hour. Once you do, let us know the link so we can add itto your listing on the RSO page.
MEDIUM DIFFICULTY: KSU offers free hosting and a WordPress website. WordPress is a simple to learn, popular blogging tool used for webpages. For example, OWL Radio and The Sentinel are both WordPress sites. You do have to have some knowledge of web building and uploading to a server, but if you do, this is a great option. KSU does limit the plugins and add-ons though, so don't expect a lot of bells and whistles.
If you are interested in option three, the WordPress site for your club or organization, complete and submit the form below. Once it is active, email the address or URL to us and we’ll happily link it to our RSO Listing.
You are not required to use WordPress or the University Server; these are just free options. If you already have a website, or wish to use a off campus service), you may still be connected to our listing.
Please complete all fields. When finished, click on the 'submit' button.
