is the third largest university in Georgia, with almost 19,000 students
in over 55 academic programs.
About The Sentinel
Published every Tuesday in broadsheet format, approximately
5,000 copies are printed. The Sentinel is free at over 30 distribution
points, including the residence halls and off campus.
About our Readers
• 40% of Kennesaw State’s undergraduate student body is
considered nontraditional by age; the average reader is 25. Six out
of 10 students at Kennesaw State are female.
• Apartment style living with private bath and bed opened fall
semester 2002. Over 2000 students live on campus.
• Almost 60% of students live within 10 miles of campus (we do,
however, have over 1,500 international students representing 132 countries!)
• Over 10% of Sentinel readers are professionals and work at
