Kathy has been at KSU since August, 1989. In her current role as Director of Student Involvement, she is responsible for the entire Department of Student Involvement. Kathy thinks she has the greatest job in the world, and she especially thinks KSU students are the BEST. Kathy is pursuing her Ph.D from the University of Georgia, anticipating a graduation date of August 2015. She is looking forward to KSU football, and she loves the new KSU Fight Song!

Ed has been advising the student media groups at KSU since 1991 and still enjoys coming into work each day. He is a self-proclaimed geek and happy meal toys have found a home in his office. Ed has a very tolerant, wonderful wife and three boys that have stopped laughing at his jokes long ago.

Jennifer started working with KSU in June 2011 as the Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life. Jennifer attended the University of South Florida and later transferred to Nova Southeastern University where she completed her Bachelors Degree. She later attended Florida International University to pursue working with college students and earned her Masters of Science Degree in Higher Education Administration. Jennifer joined the KSU community from GSU where she worked as a Residence Hall Director. She enjoys volunteering and being a member in the Association of Fraternity & Sorority Advisors where she serves on a variety of committees. During her free time she enjoys reading, running, traveling to FL to spend time with her family and exploring the many different sites here in Atlanta.

Drew had been working with the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life as the Program Coordinator since 2013 and was promoted to his current position in Jan. 2015. Drew attended Georgia State University for his undergraduate education where he completed his Bachelors Degree in Sociology in 2008. He went on later to earn his Masters Degree in College Student Personnel in 2012 from the University of Tennessee in order to pursue a career in higher education. Before coming to Kennesaw, Drew worked at the University of South Carolina as the House Director for the Upsilon chapter of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
A native of Covington, GA, Drew enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly around the dinner table. He is also an avid sports fan and is excited for Kennesaw State University’s new football program starting in 2015. Drew is a duly initiated member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Amie has worked at Kennesaw State since January 2011. It is a joy for her to help students discover their talents and capabilities as they move forward in their academic pursuits. She has the privilege of experiencing that regularly through advising KSU Student Media organizations and supervising their marketing team. Personality wise, Amie is somewhere between Blue and Green, INFJ and ENFJ, and easily gets mistaken as a student… for now. #noshame #asiangenes

Jennifer began working for Kennesaw State University in the summer of 2011, working closely with Janice Malone to fulfill the reservation needs for the Registered Student Organizations on campus.She was promoted to her current position in January 2015. Jennifer is originally from Peachtree City, GA and moved to Kennesaw in 2006 to attend Kennesaw State. After graduation from the KSU Coles College of Business in May of 2011, she began her exciting career in the Student Involvement Office. She feels that the most exciting thing about her job is being able to guide students in the most effective way to have a successful event for his/her student organization.

Janice began working for Kennesaw State University in the summer of 2008 in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice and as of January 2012, she is part of the Student Involvement Team! She works closely with Jennifer Messer to fulfill the reservation needs for the Student Organizations on campus. Janice is originally from sunny Miami, Florida, and moved to Georgia via South Carolina, in 2003. Janice loves helping people and is passionate about empowering women. There is no greater fulfillment than helping others to help themselves. It is very gratifying in knowing you played a role in helping someone to succeed in life.

Walter, AKA “Buck,” came to Student Involvement in July 2010 after working in Business Services as a procurement specialist. Buck’s primary functions are working with student organization funds, SABAC funds, paying bills, and assisting with line-item budgets. The best part of his job is working with a great team of people and being able to help students with a variety of activities. Buck, a native of Florida, earned a Bechelors Degree from Warner University in Organizational Management. Prior to working here at Kennesae State, he spent 13 years at the Kennedy Space Center. Some of his most memorable moments while at the Space Center were meeting several astronauts, being selected to watch a launch from the press site, and view a shuttle landing from the landing strip tower.

Chris just joined the KSU team Jan. 2015. Chris attended Colorado State University for his Master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education and received his Bachelor's from James Madison University. He served as Colorado's Fraterity Graduate Advisor.

Cat started working at Kennesaw State in 2001 and has worked in the Department of Student Involvement since 2005. As the Office Manager, she will often be one of the first smiling faces to greet you once entering the Student Involvement office. She loves working in Student Involvement, especially loves working with KSU students, who call her “Mama Cat.” Cat has a Bachelor of Science in Education and taught for a number of years. She also worked with her church’s youth for 15 years. Her favorite things to do are spending time with her children & grandchildren, read & listen to music.

Jen Wells is the Director of Assessment in Student Affairs at Kennesaw State University. She joined the KSU family in May of 2011.
Jen worked with the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) with Self-Assessment Guides, Standards and Guidelines and, most notably, the design and completion of the 2009 CAS Book. She continues working with CAS on their linkage project, Wiki page, standards revision and creation process, and designed and assisted in the CAS Book 2012.
Jen is from Mentor, Ohio and knows not to give Max, her dog, gum.
