On the state and federal
level, the SG keeps abreast of issues and concerns relevant to higher
education, and serves as a conduit of information between the students
and state and federal officials. The association is responsible for
making proposals to the University administration, its councils and
the faculty. SGA also investigates complaints from students and faculty.
The SG is located
on the third floor of the Student Center. Officers are usually available
to speak with you throughout the day; call them at 770-423-6276. You
are welcome to attend and voice your concerns at SG meetings each semester.
