Application for Drug & Alcohol(pdf) Letters of Recommendation (pdf) Application pkg for Eating Disorders (pdf) The Collegiate Recovery Center, a division of Student Success Services Counseling Center, at Kennesaw State University provides an accepting and nurturing, safe environment to students recovering from addictive disorders in order to cultivate and support their academic, personal and professional goals for the purpose of leading honest, productive, addictive free, healthy lives.
We want to assist students to have a full, mainstream college experience while in recovery. The primary purpose of the recovery center is to facilitate a peer-to-peer community of recovery while supporting academic achievement.
Enrolled participants enjoy a program of advocacy, support and structure by participating in the recovery meetings, seminar class, academic advisement and community accountability. In addition, those eligible to participate in the program have access to scholarships and leadership roles.
The Collegiate Recovery Center is also a resource for students seeking 12 step recovery meetings and information about recovery and support. Our staff is available on-site in the University College building, Room 222, from 8am to 5 pm to meet the needs of students.
