Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Mandated Program
The AOD Mandated Program provides evidenced-based education, intervention, and counseling services for students who have violated KSU's alcohol and drug policy. Typically, students are referred to this program by KSU's Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Office.
Prime for Life
PRIME For Life is an evidence-based alcoholand drug program taught by certified staff. It is designed to gently but powerfully challenge common beliefs and attitudes that directly contribute to high-risk alcohol and drug use. PRIME For Life is available for Kennesaw State University students to help them understand their risk for experiencing alcohol or drug problems throughout life. PRIME For Life is taught for those students typically making high-risk choices and violating campus policy.
AOD Peer Education
Each spring, the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery along with Student Athlete Success Services recruit Alcohol and Other Drug Peer Educators to be trained and conduct class presentations. Unwasted
Unwasted is the Alcohol and Other Drug Registered Student Organization that is committed to the following:
- To plan, implement and evaluate alcohol free events on campus,
- To serve as the student voice on the Kennesaw State University Alcohol and Other Drug Education and Prevention Coalition, and
- Through programs and events create safer alcohol and other drug practices for the Kennesaw State University student body.
