Choosing a Program
Applying to a Study Abroad Program
You must have a least a 2.0 adjusted GPA to be eligible to participate in a KSU study abroad program (3.0 for graduate students). Outside programs, international internships, exchange programs and partner programs may have additional requirements.
Choosing a Program
Your best resource when choosing a program is this website.
Here you can search for programs by subject/major, college, and location. You can browse program brochures and find faculty and staff contact information. We encourage you to contact the faculty directors and learn more from the experts about the programs you are interested in! Feel free to visit the Education Abroad Office at any time for more information about programs, internships, outside opportunities, and financial aid. If you have questions, call (770) 423-6336 to schedule a meeting with a study abroad advisor.
Once you have selected the program that you want to attend, go to the program brochure page and click the “apply now” button. This will prompt you for further information, material submissions, and signature documents.
The non-refundable application fee for KSU-Sponsored programs is $300.
Most Affiliate, Non-Affiliate and Direct Enroll programs also require a similar deposit and application fee.
Please see our web site and individual program brochure pages for deadline information. Advance planning is important to ensure that you have plenty of time to fulfill financial aid and/or scholarship requirements and complete the application process. For outside study abroad programs, refer to the program sponsor for specific deadlines and discuss these options with an education abroad advisor as additional materials may be required.
