Strategic & Financial Management for Entrepreneurial Businesses, Summer 2010

Program Description
Welcome to the world of Strategic & Financial Management of Entrepreneurial Businesses. This study abroad will be exciting! As part of this course, I will cover topics in the strategic and financial management of entrepreneurial businesses in the U.S. and Australia, while also facilitating learning about Australia and Australian business environment and lifestyle. During our trip we’ll visit two main locations: Sydney and Cairns/The Great Barrier Reef, with opportunities for great cultural experiences, including scuba diving and/or snorkeling at The Great Barrier Reef.  Several guest speakers will be invited and/or will host the students in their organizations to match theories with practice in a unique environment. Other city tours and cultural visits will be organized too, to allow students to better enjoy and understand the host country.

Program Dates
The courses will meet on campus for six days – two orientation days (to be determined) and four Friday class days during Summer Semester (June 25, July 9, July 16, July 23).
We will depart for Australia on July 28 and return to the U.S. on August 14.
These dates will allow students to take classes during the regular Summer Semester and return in time for Fall Semester.
