Montepulciano Fall 2010

Program Description
In the fall of 2010 Kennesaw State University will offer its third 10 week semester abroad program.  It will be located in the beautiful Italian town of Montepulciano, featured in the movies, Under the Tuscan Sun and New Moon (the sequel to Twilight). Montepulciano is Tuscany’s highest hilltop town noted for its Renaissance architecture, charm, famous vineyards, and breathtaking views. It has been the location of Summer Study Abroad Programs sponsored by Kennesaw State University for the past 11 years.  Situated half-way between Florence and Rome, Montepulciano offers a friendly safe environment for learning and experiencing la vita Italia.  Students who have fallen under the spell and ambiance of this Tuscan treasure develop a sense that Montepulciano is “their” town, because as the daily flow of tourists ebbs in late afternoon ‘they’ get to stay for dinner and sleep overnight.  Join us…there is a Tuscan sunset waiting for you.

Program Dates
August 26 - November 4, 2010

Program Cost
$6,030.00 includes: Roundtrip airfare, airport transfers to and from Rome, accommodations, evening meals, weekend excursions to Rome, Venice, and Pompeii-Sorrento, plus field trips to Florence, Siena, Pisa and other Tuscan locales.
