International Criminal Justice
Maymester 2009


This unique study abroad program includes site visits to Thai Criminal Justice agencies such as prisons, jails, police stations and headquarters, national police academy, and a court. Students will live and study at Chulalongkorn University with excursions to Chiangmai, Rayong, and Nakorn Pathom. Includes historical and cultural site visits such as Doi Suthep, Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha Temple and a floating market. Elephant trekking and rafting are included.

Courses:
All participants will take the following 3 CR HR course:

CRJU 4490 International Criminal Justice
No prerequisites.

Housing:
Students will stay in double rooms at Chulalongkorn University
and in hotels while traveling.

May 10 - 26, 2009

 

Admissions:
Minimum 2.0 Cumulative GPA and good academic standing.

Program Cost:
$2,950.00 Cost includes airfare, local transportation, housing, two meals per day, program-related excursions and emergency health insurance. Price does not include 3 CR HRS tuition. Financial Aid applicable. Cost subject to slight change.
A $300 deposit is due at the time of application.
A bill for the remaining balance of the program fees will be billed to your student account by February 1, and must be paid in full by March 2. Tuition will also be due at this time.

Faculty Background:
Dr. Sutham Cheurprakobkit has been leading this study abroad program for six years. He served for three years on the Thai police force.
