All
teachers know that the demographics of their classrooms are changing
rapidly. These changes include the rapid growth of the number
of limited English proficient students. The current growth is
expected to continue. For this reason, it is imperative that
all teachers are prepared to educate students who are racially,
culturally or linguistically diverse.
TELL is
a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office
of English Acquisition to help all teachers more effectively
educate limited English proficient students.
