"Huck's House"

Mark Twain based Huck on a boy who lived in this house in Hannibal, Missouri

What the Play's About

"Splittin' the Raft" is a dramatic adaptation of the Mark Twain classic Adventures of Huckleberry Finn as seen through the eyes of the great orator and abolitionist Frederick Douglass.

How It's Different

Four actors perform multiple roles, sing, create ambient sounds, narrate and go through many lightning-fast costume changes as they bring Huck Finn's story to life on the stage.
