Pam Joyce

Pam Joyce is the founding Artistic Director of Fly-By Theatre, an Atlanta based theatre company specializing in short, highly visual productions. Over the company’s ten year history, she has co-authored, created and directed many original works with Fly-By including A World of Silents, Test Flights:3 new short plays (an annual new works festival) and Listening to Ourselves. With over 24 years of experience in community, academic and professional theatre, Ms. Joyce brings a breadth of experience to the classroom from acting and directing on the stage to building in the technical shops to the administrative offices and front of house. She holds a BFA from the University of Evansville and an MFA in Theatre Directing from the University of Minnesota. She has also trained with world-renowned artists Anne Bogart and Ruth Zapora . Her research interests include physical styles of performance, dance history and avant garde theatre. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
