Caitlin M. Trainor is a dancer and dancemaker who hails from Scituate, Rhode Island. She received her M.F.A. from Mills College in Oakland, Calif., and a B.S. from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Trainor has performed on both coasts with various choreographers including Stephen Koplowitz and Sean Curran. She assisted with the choreography of “As You Like It” for Shakespeare in the Park, and has performed in “Romeo and Juliet,” choreographed by Sean Curran at the Metropolitan Opera. Trainor is on the dance faculty at Barnard College/Columbia University and at Montclair State University, and teaches private yoga classes throughout the Metropolitan area. Trainor is currently dancing with Headless Whorse Dance Company in New York City, and is delighted to be working with the students of Kennesaw State University.
