Student Organizations

Alpha Psi Omega

The purpose of Alpha Psi Omega is to stimulate interest in theatre activities at KSU and to secure for the college all the advantages and mutual helpfulness provided by a large national honor society. By electing students to membership, the society provides a reward for participation in theater activities of the University. Contact faculty advisor Harrison Long for more information.

Dance Company

The KSU Dance Company is a pre-professional level dance company that performs on campus, regionally and nationally. The mission of the KSU Dance Company is to bring Western concert dance to the community, as well as serve the mission of education in dance through its outreach programs. Rising Images

Rising Images unifies students from diverse cultural, ethnic and academic backgrounds in order to celebrate and create theatre with a multi-culture perspective. The group's primary goals are to promote cultural diversity in the arts at KSU and increase awareness of that diversity in the university community. Any KSU student may join. Tellers

The KSU Tellers is dedicated to the exploration and creation of live storytelling performance and original adaptations of literature and oral histories. Performing for adults as well as children, the company’s repertoire includes stories from the world of mythology, legend, folktales, history and personal experience. Auditions are held each fall.
