Transient – A transient student is a guest from another college or university for one term, and who has been verified by their home institution as eligible to return.

            Steps to Apply:

  1. Submit an application to KSU Online at  This requires completing the application and submitting with a $40 application fee.
  2. Submit a transient letter from the Registrar’s Office or Academic Dean at your home institution, stating your eligibility to re-enroll. Send to KSU Admissions. Most will indicate that you are in Good Academic Standing.
  3. Follow the status of your application on the application status check.
  4. If you plan to apply for financial aid, be sure to contact the KSU financial aid office early in the process for information.

NOTE:  All enrolling students must provide the University System of Georgia proof of immunization to the Kennesaw State University Immunization Department. For more information please visit the immunizations page.  Also, all applicants who apply for in-state tuition must provide lawful presence verification.
