My experience at ESBA has been great overall. Before the program started, I was a little upset that I would be giving up the majority of my summer before I started college. However, my decision to participate in the program has been nothing but beneficial for me.

My ESBA experience will be one that I won’t forget. I am really glad that I was allowed the opportunity that many freshmen at Kennesaw State University will never get a chance to experience. Being in the ESBA program really taught me how to manage my free time and study effectively. The thing I liked most about the program is that the class was small so the teacher knew us by our name and new what we needed more help on and made sure we got the help we needed.

ESBA was definitely an experience for me. When I first heard about ESBA through a family friend, I scoffed at the idea of taking time out of my summer to start school early. Yet I decided to entertain the idea after finding out it could help me with my math, which has been the bane of my scholarly existence since Algebra I. After attending the first meeting and learning of how ESBA could benefit me school-wise and financially, I decided that it may be the best action for me to take.

My experience in ESBA has been great, and the people I have met made this college experience very memorable. I wasn’t very thrilled to giving up my last month of summer just to start school early especially since I just finished high school and was looking forward to a nice vacation. I can’t speak for anyone else but this really did help me. I got a refresher on my math and also got to get a feel for the college life. My professors are great and to get an early bond with them only helped me get through this experience. The program showed me that life is about change and how well you adapt to it.

I realized that ESBA was more than just summer classes. It showed me that I needed to take things into my own hands and make the best out of any situation. This program was definitely the right start for me. It prepared me for the fall instead of just being thrown into college. I might actually be able to lend a helping hand to a new student in the fall. Less confusion and less stress because now I feel prepared.

Coming into ESBA I did not know what to expect. I was happily rewarded with a great staff of professors and thirsty group of peers ready to learn. I believe that the ESBA program succeeded its expectations. When doing math now I do not fear it. I am proud to say that I was part of this years program and would happily recommend it to anyone else.
