University College's two academic departments offer courses in hybrid and online environments as well as the traditional face-to-face environment to maximize learning opportunities for KSU's undergraduates. Students can take online or hybrid sections of first-year seminars and IT 2101 as well as Leadership Studies courses. The Leadership Studies certificate program can be completed entirely online. Whether students are web learners or just seeking the flexibility that hybrid sections offer, University College is committed to engaging them in a learning environment that meets their needs.

Hybrid Courses offered by UC
Hybrid courses are considered part of the university’s distance learning commitment and are defined at KSU as 50% on-campus classroom instruction and 50% technology instruction. Hybrid courses constitute the same amount of course work as a traditional face-to-face course, but students have greater flexibility in when they fulfill the course requirements.
