The Department of University Studies is part of the University College and is designed to serve a broad array of students including those who choose to pursue a new interdisciplinary degree or participate in one of many interdisciplinary programs.

A wide array of campus-wide academic initiatives that support student success at Kennesaw State University are housed in this deparment. Programs include: an award winning Honors program, long standing Freshman/Senior-Year Experience Programs, a Sophomore Experience Program, and a new Supplemental Instruction Program.

In addition, the department offers academic assistance in English, Reading and Mathematics to entering international and non-traditional students as well as a well-staffed Math Lab for walk-in instruction.
