Why Wellness Works: Becoming a Well-Balanced Student in an Unbalanced World
Description:
Do you want to know more about how you can become a successful student? If so, then join us as we look at the concept of “wellness.” Wellness refers to more than just the absence of disease or being physically fit. The wellness model focuses on self-responsibility and encompasses six different aspects: physical, occupational, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual. Each of the dimensions is separate, yet interrelated. Once students learn to achieve a good balance among the dimensions, they can function at their optimal level—an essential for becoming a successful student.
