You must meet with your Honors mentor before the term begins to determine who will serve as the project supervisor and what the product of the project will be. Please remember that, typically, some form of written product—a formal paper, a journal, a reflective piece, or the printed text/images of a PowerPoint presentation—must document the experience in your Honors Portfolio.

You must arrange to meet with the project supervisor before or immediately after the term begins to fill out the contract prospectus form above.

You must ask your Honors mentor to review the prospectus, make any revisions he or she suggests, and submit your contract prospectus form to the Honors Office.

ALL HONORS STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO HAVE MET WITH THEIR HONORS MENTORS FOR THE MANDATORY MIDTERM CONFERENCE (AND PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR NAME WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ADVANCED PRIORITY REGISTRATION LIST FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THIS APPOINTMENT). PLEASE DON'T FAIL TO MEET WITH YOUR MENTOR AND SUBMIT THE COMPLETED MIDTERM CONFERENCE SUMMARY FORM-INITIALED BY YOUR HONORS MENTOR—TO THE HONORS OFFICE:

The Honors Office will send you a midterm conference summary form and other information regarding your registration.

Please note: A midterm conference with your Honors mentor is not required for the summer semester, but if you are attending summer classes and your mentor is available on campus, it is strongly recommended.

 
 

Please return the completed Honors Contract to Dr. Liza Davis in LB 423.
