PLEASE NOTE:

 

You must submit this proposal, as an e-mail attachment to honors@kennesaw.edu, to the Honors Office by the LAST DAY OF CLASSES of the semester BEFORE you are scheduled to take the Honors Senior Capstone course, Honors 4499. Please make sure (1) your supervising instructor and Honors mentor have approved this proposal, (2) you have discussed its terms with the Honors Director, AND (3) you have received clearance from the Honors Office to register for Honors 4499 before submitting your formal proposal.

You must plan to enroll in Honors 4499 as your final Honors requirement the semester BEFORE you graduate. (If you’re graduating at the end of the summer semester, 2004, you will enroll in Honors 4499 in the spring of 2004, for example.) Special permission to register for this course can be obtained in the Honors Office, Library 423.

You must fill out the Honors Senior Capstone Proposal form above, ask your Honors mentor to review it, make any necessary revisions, and submit your finished proposal to the Honors Director.
 
ALL HONORS STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO HAVE MET WITH THEIR HONORS MENTORS FOR THE MANDATORY MIDTERM CONFERENCE (AND PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR NAME WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE ADVANCED PRIORITY REGISTRATION LIST FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THIS APPOINTMENT). PLEASE DON'T FAIL TO MEET WITH YOUR MENTOR AND SUBMIT THE COMPLETED MIDTERM CONFERENCE SUMMARY FORM—INITIALED BY YOUR HONORS MENTOR—TO THE HONORS OFFICE:

 

The Honors Office will send you a midterm conference summary form and other information regarding your registration.

Please note: A midterm conference with your Honors mentor is not required for the summer semester, but if you are attending summer classes and your mentor is available on campus, it is strongly recommended.

 
 

Please return the completed Honors Contract to Dr. Liza Davis in LB 423.
