GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE
HONORS 4400 DIRECTED STUDY
 

This Honors Directed Study should be designed
 

  • (1) to give an Honors dimension to the curriculum the supervising instructor would traditionally offer in a Directed Study in his or her major discipline,

  • (2) to introduce the student to an advanced curriculum not offered in the instructor's major discipline,
or

  • (3) to serve as a vehicle for an Honors Applied Learning Experience.
The student must make an A or a B in Honors 4400 in order to receive Honors credit for the course.
