Important Dates and Deadlines
For Fall 2008 Advising and Registration
| Aug. 15 | Fall semester classes begin |
| Aug. 15 - 21 | Drop/Add period. Any changes to your schedule must be cleared by the Honors office and made during this period. |
| Aug. 25 | Final payment deadline for fees not covered by Accel. Pay online trhough Owl Express or in person at the Bursar's Office. |
| Oct. 10 | Last day to withdraw from a class without academic penalty. Note that you may be required to rpay Accel for dropped classes. |
| Oct. TBA | Mandatory advising for Spring semester 2008 course selection and Accel form completion. |
| Oct. 31 | Deadline for completed Accel forms for spring semster classes prior to registration. |
| Nov. 3 | Register for Spring 09 classes from any computer with Internet access. JEHP students are encouraged to register Nov. 3 while all classes are available. Registration continues throught Nov. 12. |
| Nov. 26 - 30 | Thanksgiving Break - No classes. |
| Dec. 4 - 10 | Final Exams |
| Dec. 13 | Final Grades accessible to students online via Owl Express |
Spring Semester 2009 |

| Jan. 8 | First day of classes |
| Jan. 8 - 14 | Drop/Add |
| Jan. 19 | MLK Holiday - no classes |
| March 1 | Students wishing to continue at KSU for summer or fall 2009 classes must submit application for readmission to JEHP office by this date to waive fee and have high school send updated transcript showing Fall 2008 grades. |
| Spring Break March 7 - 13 |
KSU's spring break does not coincide with many public school system's. You are expected to attend your KSU classes during your high schools's spring break. |
| March 6 | Last day to withdraw from a class without academic penalty. |
| May 1 - 7 | Final Exams |
| May 9 | Final grades accessible to students online via Owl Express |
