What you should know About ESBA Housing

A block of on-campus housing units has been reserved for those Early Start Bridge Academy participants who are interested in living on-campus during the 2009-2010. Each student will be responsible for all non-refundable fees and payments associated with on-campus housing. Housing commitments for Early Start Bridge Academy students will be due by Friday, March 27, 2009, and students living in the ESBA housing block will move in on Saturday, July 11, 2009. Students who want to live on campus but choose not to live in the special housing block may not be able to move in until mid-August and will need to make other housing arrangements during the Academy.

Early Start Bridge Academy students who are interested in on-campus housing during the four-week bridge academy must also sign up to live in that same space for 2009-2010 contract year, ending in July 2010. These students must take their COMPASS exams in
March 2009. These dates for this special testing are:

Tuesday, March 3
Wednesday, March 4
Thursday, March 5

All tests will be held at
4 p.m. in KH 1209. Please keep in mind the above test dates are only for those who are interested in being a residential Early Start Bridge Academy participant.

All other students who are interested in the Early Start Bridge Academy and plan to commute to Kennesaw State University for the Academy should take their COMPASS test beginning in
May 2009. The COMPASS registration website for Fall 2009 will open on April 1.

Since there is a limited number of seats for the March COMPASS, registration for these sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If students are interested in living in the ESBA housing and/or to sign-up for one of the above COMPASS dates, they should contact Ms. Nicoly Y. Myles at (770) 499-3530 or
nmyles@kennesaw.edu.
