Photography Services

KSU University Relations Photography is dedicated to providing high-quality, professional photographic services to meet the promotional needs of the University. Priority is given to assignments affecting publications produced by University Relations, recruitment, media and public relations, historical events and the President’s Office. Photography also provides complementary Staff and Faculty Headshots for use in external publications.

Photography retains all rights to all photographs, which could be added to the KSU Image Database. They might be used in any of the University Relations publications to include the KSU Magazine, Access, news releases, admissions materials, advertisements and marketing materials. These images may also be used by the external media with the permission of University Relations and must include the appropriate photo credit.

For Photography Request:

Please complete a photography request form, at least two weeks in advance by
email to photography@kennesaw.edu.

All requests must be approved by University Relations

All requests must provide the following information:

1. Date and time of photo shoot, location (directions if off campus)

2. Detailed description of photos needed and intended usage

3. Contact information for Coordinator of shoot (must be on scene at time of shoot)

4. Story background information of the event or publication

5. Talent of your choice must be provided

For requests that do not meet the given above criteria, services of a student photographer may be available as scheduling permits. Digital and film cameras are also made available on loan for departmental use when student photographers are not available or requested services do not meet the given criteria. Departments requesting use of these cameras are responsible for any equipment damage while on loan.

Anyone requesting existing digital images for publication should make an appointment with Jim Bolt at #3146, photography@kennesaw.edu.

The Office of Sports Information in Kennesaw State University Athletic Department handles all requests for existing photographs involving student-athletes and athletic events. This is to ensure compliance with NCAA policies and regulations.
