| The Department of University Studies, located in the Horace W. Sturgis Library’s top floor, is part of the University College and designed to serve a broad array of students including those who choose to pursue an Integrative Studies Degree or participate in one of many integrative programs offered in the department. Programs include: an award winning Honors program, Dual Enrollment Honors Program, long standing Senior-Year Experience Seminar Course - KSU 4401 and a successful Supplemental Instruction Program. The department also offers an academic certificate in Leadership Studies, as well as a wide selection of Leadership Studies courses. In addition, the department offers academic assistance in English, Reading and Mathematics to entering international and non-traditional students as well as a well-staffed Math Lab for walk-in instruction. The ESL Study Center offers tutoring and support for international students whose primary language is not English. In addition, advising and student consultation in these programs takes place year-round on a walk-in basis. |
