Midterm Conferences
The midterm conference is a MANDATORY advising session that takes place twice a year (fall and spring) to review your academic progress and select courses for next semester. No matter what your designation (first-year, sophomore, junior, or senior) you must attend a midterm conference to remain in good standing in the Honors program and receive advanced priority registration.
Standard Contract
A Standard Honors contract in a Non-Honors Course is used to add an Honors dimension to an upper-level Non-Honors coruse, thus providing the student with a more challenging and enriching academic experience than his or her fellow classmates. The agreement between the student and the instructor must be documented in an "Honors Contract" approved by the student's supervising instructor and Honors mentor, as well as the Director of the Honors Program.
Applied Learning Contract
An Appied Learning Experience is based in an Honor student's major and is designed to allow the student to apply the skills and knowledge acquired ther to general practice.
