Deborah N. Smith is an Associate Professor of Higher Education and the Leadership Studies Director at Kennesaw State University. She is also the Assistant Chair of the Department of University Studies. Deborah has been at KSU full-time since 2004. She currently teaches Honors Research Methods and a variety of Leadership courses. She also taught KSU Freshman and Senior Seminars, and held positions in the areas of student life and wellness at other institutions. Deborah holds a B.A. in Psychology from Furman University, a M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Georgia State University. She resides in Marietta, GA with her husband, two sons and dog. In her spare time she enjoys being involved in her community, reading, exercising and enjoying the great outdoors. |
