D. Michael Keleher has been teaching English at Kennesaw State University since 2002. The recipient of
the 2013 University College Distinguished Professional Service Award, Dr. Keleher’s current teaching and
research focuses on the challenges facing second language learners entering the first year of college.
From 2006 to 2009, as the Principal Investigator for three Title II/Teacher Quality grants, Dr. Keleher
oversaw the integration of blogs, wikis and podcasts into language arts classes at local public schools.
His published work has appeared in Business Communication Quarterly, Teachers as Avatars: English
Studies in the Digital Age and the E-Journal of Ethical Leadership.
