The Fire House Gallery (www.galleryafire.com) in Historic Downtown Lousiville, GA is accepting application for a Curatorial Fellow.
The term of the fellowship is August 2011 through June 2012 (some room for negotiation). The deadline to apply is April 15, 2011.

*Whether or not awards are given in each category is up to the discretion of the juror.
Students Eligible: All students enrolled at least one semester at Kennesaw State University, Summer 2008 through Spring 2009.
Works Eligible: All entries must be original works of the entering artists and have been completed within the past two years. The work cannot have previously been exhibited in another Annual Juried Student Exhibition.
Entry Fees
Visions Members: First 3 submissions free, $5 per additional entry.
Non-Visions Members: $10 for the first 3 artwork entries. $5 per additional entry.

Art Exhibition Entry forms may be downloaded (190KB PDF printable on 8.5" X 14" sheet) or pickup hard copies in the Visual Resource Center (VA223) or the Visual Arts Department Office (VA202).
Receipt of Entries
Entry forms must accompany works delivered to the Fine Arts Gallery on Dec. 4,-5, 8-9, only between the hours of 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. or Dec. 10-12 between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Work not accepted into the exhibition must be picked up at the Fine Arts Gallery Thursday or Friday, January 8-9, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Framing / Presentation
All work must be framed and ready to hang with hanging wire in place.*
Sculpture should be constructed securely and be provided with a base if necessary.
(NEW!) Digital multi-media graphics and short film may be submitted on CD or DVD. Flat graphic designs such as posters and advertisements may also be submitted as PDF on CD. (Must be formatted for Macintosh.)
* Graphic works such as brochures or menus that can stand on their own may be submitted and displayed on pedestals.
Application Rules
Both an entry form and identification tag(s) must be completed and signed by the artist. Each identification tag is to be taped in the upper left-hand corner of framed works. ALL WORKS MUST BE READY TO HANG with WIRE.
Works not Juried Into Show: Work not accepted into the exhibition must be picked up at the Fine Arts Gallery Monday or Tuesday, March 17-18, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Pick up of Works in Exhibition
Works may be picked up in the Fine Arts Gallery between Wednesday and Friday, March 4 - 6, 2009 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Works not picked up by Friday, March 20 will become the property of the Museum & Galleries and may be disposed of or given away. Once moved from the Gallery, student artists assume responsibility for loss or damage.

Liability: By entry hereunder, entrant agrees that there shall be no liability on the part of the Department of Visual Arts, Kennesaw State University, VISIONS, or the Visual Arts Committee, for the loss or damage to the entrant’s work(s) from any cause while under the possession or control of these sponsors.
Sales of Artwork:
When pricing artwork for sale, please include a 30% contribution to support the Gallery Program at KSU.
All artwork must be clearly labeled with the provided tags herein. Cut out the tags and attach them with tape on the reverse or under side of the artwork. (Please do not tape tags on gilded frames. Tags may be taped to wire hanger.)

Martin Dawe, CherryLion Sculpture Studios.
Martin Dawe is a well-known figurative and representationl sculptor. Dawe founded his own studio in 1987, which was incorporated as CherryLion Studios in 1994, and is now known for producing high-quality, innovative works.
