Special Exhibition Lets Viewers "Walk Through" KSU Art Studios

A new exhibition will allow viewers to see some of the most recent work being created by students in the KSU Department of Visual Arts. Hosted by The Art Station at Big Shanty, the show features opens March 6 and runs through March 23.

All visual arts students are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities to showcase their artwork, both on and off campus. For this exhibition, they had to submit their work to a special jury for consideration. Pieces by painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and sculpture students were selected.

The Art Station at Big Shanty is located at 2050 Kennesaw Due West Road in Kennesaw. To get there, take I-75 to Exit 271 (Chastain Road) and travel about two miles west on Chastain Road/McCullum Parkway. Turn right onto U.S. 41/Cobb Parkway. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Kennesaw Due West Road and drive for approximately one mile. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, but weekend and evening hours can be arranged. Call 770-514-5930 for more information.
