Christopher Ward
Director of Web Services and Mobile Development
In 2002, Chris joined Kennesaw State as the Campus Webmaster. In his time with the university, he has designed and built numerous sites for all types of departments on campus. His KSU accomplishments include a Shining Star award, a Center for University Learning Facilitator of the Month award, and the 2004 KSU Staff Employee of the Year. Chris is a two-time KSU graduate, most recently earning a Master’s in Professional Writing. In his free time, Chris enjoys his greatest passions: the Baltimore Ravens, playing guitar, brewing beer, having fun with his family, and toiling away at the minutiae of the Star Wars universe.

Lt. Christopher Ward
Imperial Lieutenant, Devastator
Lieutenant Ward is a bold and outspoken 501st Legion stormtrooper officer, serving under Darth Vader aboard the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Devastator. In 0 BBY, Lt. Ward led a contingent of the 501st Legion in an attack on the CR90 corvette Tantive IV, on which Lord Darth Vader believed Senator Leia Organa had received transmissions containing the Death Star plans. The 501st picked off the Rebel forces aboard the ship and captured Organa, but despite a thorough search of the corvette no trace of the plans could be found. Lt. Ward was tasked with destroying the ship and alerting the Imperial Senate that it had been lost in a meteorite strike.

Amos Williams
Assistant Director of Web Services and Mobile Development
Amos joined Enterprise Systems and Services in January 2012. Prior to his position as Lead Developer, Amos worked for two years in KSU’s ITS department as a Technology Assistant and Support Specialist. In addition to Web development, Amos’ expertise is focused on mobile devices and operating systems. As Lead Developer, Amos manages an extensive library of mobile hardware, including phones, tablets and multimedia devices. Among his many accomplishments, Amos was selected as KSU’s 2011 Shining Star of the Year. When he is not building great responsive Web sites, Amos spends time enjoying his most favorite non-technical pastimes: fast cars, good movies and savoring dishes from Atlanta’s finest restaurants.

Amos Calrissian
Baron Administrator, Cloud City
Amos Calrissian, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, is concerned primarily with keeping the Empire out of his affairs. One day, Darth Vader arrived and threatened him that he would take over the city unless he gave his old friend Han Solo over to the bounty hunter Boba Fett. Unwilling to leave the city in the hands of the Empire, Amos reluctantly betrayed Han, but his conscience got the better of him when Vader went back on his word-taking Princess Leia Organa and Chewbacca as prisoners. In the ensuing evacuation of Cloud City, Amos helped Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO escape. He then assisted Leia in rescuing the maimed Luke Skywalker from the underside of Cloud City. Afterwards, he joined the Rebel Alliance, while promising Leia he will find Han.

Caleb Hardin
Junior Web Developer
Caleb, a current KSU freshman, joined the ESS WebGroup in the fall of 2012. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Lead Graphic Designer and Web Administrator for the Flicko's Video Services Corporation. His expertise in web development includes HTML and CSS development and editing, as well as proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver. While outside of the ESS environment, Caleb spends his time playing disc golf, card and board games, as well as indulging in the expanse of the Marvel Universe.

Caleb Fett
Bounty Hunter, Kamino
Caleb Fett's most famous contribution to the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic was the donation of his genes used to produce the army's clone troopers at Kamino's Tipoca City facility. However, Fett would be central in many facets of the army's early development, including assisting in the design of the armor worn by the clones. Caleb was also responsible for recruiting the Cuy'val Dar—a one-hundred man group of Mandalorians—with assorted skills and professions, hired to train the clone commandos that would make up the army's special forces. Fett would personally oversee the training of the one-hundred Alpha-class Advanced Recon Commandos, considered the most skilled and elite soldiers in the Grand Army.

Kevin Ball
Junior Web Developer
Kevin joined the ESS WebGroup in the summer of 2013 and is currently in his third year at KSU studying Computer Science. Before working at KSU he did freelance web design for small businesses. His expertise is web development; however, he is also proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Dreamweaver. In his free time Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as playing his favorite computer games.

Kev Ballkins
Rebel Alliance, X-wing Pilot
Kev Ballkins was a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who was forced to abandon his homeworld when the Galactic Empire chose it as the site of a new military base. Seeking an opportunity to strike back at the Empire, Ballkins joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic and was assigned to Red Squadron, operating out of the Great Temple on Yavin 4. On a mission to destroy the Death Star, Ballkins flew as Red Six during the Battle of Yavin. When his T-65 X-wing starfighter was struck by debris, his starcraft was left with several mechanical and computer malfunctions. Ballkins was quickly hit by enemy turbolaser fire and killed.

Serkan Solo
Captain, Millennium Falcon
Serkan Solo was a smuggler from the planet Corellia who achieved galactic fame as a member of the Rebel Alliance. Born on Corellia, he was orphaned at an early age and taken by the pirate Garris Shrike to serve on his crew. He was treated cruelly, and served Shrike for many years before escaping. Soon after, Solo entered the Imperial Academy at Carida. He was kicked out, however, when he stopped an Imperial officer from beating a Wookiee named Chewbacca with a neuronic whip for resisting capture. In gratitude, the Wookiee swore a life debt to Solo. He became a smuggler with Chewbacca at his side. Piloting the upgraded and customized Millennium Falcon, which he won in a game of Sabacc against Lando Calrissian, he became known as one of the best smugglers in the galaxy.
