Established in 1998, The President's Dinner recognizes and celebrates friends and alumni who have made annual gifts of $1,000 or more in this academic year, as well as individuals who have made pace-setting gifts in the past. The donors' gifts make a tremendous impact in the lives of our students and the university as a whole.
Support from the university's friends adds a margin of excellence to each student's educational experience. If unrestricted, these gifts are used in a number of ways, from providing annual discretionary funding to each college, to supporting student scholarships and special faculty needs. If restricted, they are used as the donor directs, for everything from capital projects, endowed chairs, student scholarships and classroom enhancements, to general support for a specific academic unit or program.
Whether you have directed your gift to a specific program or allowed the university to use your gift where the need is greatest, your support is an important investment in the university's ability to compete for strong students and faculty and to serve as a critical educational resource.
