Welcome to Kennesaw State University, the third largest in the University System of Georgia. Recognized regionally for its phenomenal growth, KSU’s academic reputation, community engagement, and global footprint have catapulted the university into the national arena.

A lot has been happening at KSU over the past year. Highlights include:

  • Approval of several new degree programs including a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, a post-baccalaureate certificate in Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials; three master’s degree programs –International Policy Management, American Studies, and a dual M.B.A./M.P.A. degree; and, a new Doctorate of Science in Nursing;
  • Recognition by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 10 Up-and-Coming universities in the South;
  • Recognition of KSU's "First-Year Experience" as one of the top "Academic Programs to Look for" by U.S. News and World Report for seven consecutive years;
  • Reclassification to NCAA Division I for all 16 of the university’s varsity sports teams; and
  • Recognition by The Chronicle of Higher Education as one of America’s “2009 Great Colleges to Work For.”

With a student body of more than 22,500 representing 142 countries, Kennesaw State is a destination campus for students throughout Georgia and beyond. The KSU faculty and staff are dedicated, hard-working individuals supported by a strong and active Foundation. The combined team provides students with a wide range of experiences both inside and outside the classroom, experiences and instruction that will prepare them to take their place in society as engaged citizens and global leaders.

There is a sense of pride at KSU. From the new state-of-the-art 1,200-seat dining hall and Sports and Recreation Park to the on-going construction of the Health Sciences Building scheduled to open in 2010, students, faculty and staff are excited about the changes taking place on campus.
