Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology

The Kennesaw State Industrial Engineering Technology degree (IET) is an engineering technology degree that will provide you with the skills to implement and apply the principles of industrial engineering. Like industrial engineering, IET deals primarily with the process management of money, materials, and labor in a business and industrial environment.

The Industrial Engineering Technology degree program aims to provide an advanced educational experience in industrial engineering technology to serve the manufacturing and service industries. This program prepares you for careers concerned with designing, implementing, evaluating and improving integrated systems of people, machines, energy, information and logistics.

IET graduates are well prepared to lead the scientific and economic development of an increasingly complex state, nation and world. Additionally, they appreciate various political and social issues' impact on their companies. Our mission is to serve both traditional and non-traditional students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to empower them with the ability and vision to transform the future. The IET degree is offered both as a hybrid and online.

With the BS in IET, you can choose a concentration in quality principles or logistics by selecting a combination of specific required and elective courses. You can optionally earn a Six Sigma Green Belt as well.
