As part of Black Women’s History Month (April), "WOC in the Workplace" is a 90-minute workshop created to center the voices of Black, Indigenous, Women of Color navigating challenges and stressors in the workplace. The aim is to build a safe place for women to be empowered to show up as their full selves, through awareness building, resource and skill development, and community healing. Join the Women's Resource Center for THE VENT TENT, a community art project in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month that allows students to process their emotions around interpersonal violence. Throw some paint, spray on a message, or access support resources! April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! SAAM was officially designated by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center in order to raise public awareness, empower survivors, and educate communities on how to prevent sexual assault, abuse, and harassment. Throughout April, the Women’s Resource Center and our campus partners will present various events as we strive to create a campus and world free of sexual violence.
