The Women's Resource Center's mission is to enhance academic, personal, and professional performance and empower members of the KSU community to reach their full potential by striving to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
The Women's Resource Center's mission is achieved through a commitment to provide:
- Outreach – provide education and services that cater to the educational experiences of KSU students
- Training - provide studenst with opportunities to build skills that will prepare them for life following graduation, especially through developing leadership
- Support - provide a comfortable gathering place for students; to assist student groups developing and implementing programming that fosters a greater sense of understanding and responsiveness to women's issues on campus

Join the Women's Resource Center as we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month this October! Come relax with therapy dogs from Happy Tails Pet Therapy, make a bandana for your own "dog against domestic violence", and learn more about interpersonal violence resources! October was designated as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month in 1981 by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence to raise awareness for the issue and impact of domestic violence, unite communities in prevention efforts, and empower survivors. In honor of this, the Women’s Resource Center and our campus partners will present various events throughout the month of October aimed at interpersonal violence education, prevention, and advocacy.Craft Corner: Pumpkin Painting
