Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music enters educational partnership with Atlanta Symphony
Kennesaw State University’s Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) are joining forces to create new opportunities for the next generation of musicians in Metro Atlanta. Beginning this fall, the educational partnership will connect KSU music students with professional musicians through masterclasses, performance opportunities and access to ASO concerts — bringing students closer to the artistry, mentorship and professional experiences that define a career on the stage.

Kennesaw State student publishes study on alcohol's impact on Ugandan women
Few undergraduates can add “lead author in a peer-reviewed journal” to their list of accomplishments. Kennesaw State University student and Harry S. Truman Scholarship finalist Allisa George is one of them. George, an Honors student double majoring in public health and biology, is the first author of a National Institutes of Health-funded study examining alcohol and mental health among women in Uganda recently published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
