  • Kennesaw State addiction recovery center opens new facility

    Kennesaw State University’s nationally recognized addiction recovery center has opened a newer, more expansive facility in the heart of one of the University’s student housing complexes. The Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery (CYAAR), now in its 10th year of service, marked the milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Friday at its new 3,830-square-foot facility at University Village on the Kennesaw Campus.  –  September 22, 2017

    The Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University has launched a new center to study the economic and social factors that impact economic prosperity. The Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity is named in recognition of a $2.25 million contribution from longtime KSU donors Tommy and Chantal Bagwell, with an additional $1 million from the Charles Koch Foundation.  –  September 21, 2017

Students, faculty and staff gathered Wednesday on the Campus Green for the Year of India Festival.   • Kennesaw State student awarded exclusive Merwin Scholarship

    A Kennesaw State University student is in rare company after being named one of 17 students worldwide to receive the Richard E. Merwin Scholarship presented by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computer Society. Victor Sahin, a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science in Kennesaw State’s College of Computing and Software Engineering, is the lone U.S.-based recipient for the scholarship.  –  September 18, 2017
