This individual reports to the Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL). The Graduate Assistant assists in the development and implementation of services and programs that support the day-to-day coordination of the fraternity and sorority community. This position includes advisement, mentorship, community development, program planning, student leadership development and other duties congruent with fulfilling the mission and vision of the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Kennesaw State University.
The Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life is committed to preparing Graduate Assistants for a career in Student Affairs and has aligned the duties of this position with the Core Competencies for the fraternity/sorority advising profession as developed by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA).

Graduate Assistant – Marietta Leadership Hub
Leadership is the intentional process of working together to create positive change. This change may be as small as an interaction between two people or as large as the creation of new technology. College students learn the art of leadership through their many interactions in class, clubs, and other encounters. Leadership Educators in The Leadership Hub use these experiences to connect students with leadership knowledge, skills, and attitudes that they will use throughout their lifetime. Focus is on self-discovery, developing talent, and creating impact.
Supervised by the Coordinator of Leadership Development, the Graduate Assistant for the Marietta Leadership Hub will develop and implement an advanced leadership group for students engaged at the KSU Marietta campus. This position will assist with curriculum development, oversee student recruitment, individual leadership coaching, small group coaching, workshop facilitation, assessment, marketing, and other duties as assigned.

StAT Graduate Assistant
Supervised by the Assistant Director of Strategic Planning, Assessment, and Analytics within the Division of Student Affairs, this position will focus on the planning, implementation, supervision, leadership development, and assessment of the Student Assessment Team (StAT). Through participation in StAT, undergraduate students take an active role in gathering student feedback in engaging and innovative ways. Students participating in StAt will design assessment projects investigating the co- and extra-curricular student experience, analyze results, and develop strategies to communicate the findings of their assessment project(s) with the campus community.
Responsibilities Include:- Develop a training curriculum that would build capacity of StAT members in the areas of assessment and evaluation.
- Plan and execute monthly professional development opportunities for the StAT cohort, with an emphasis on communication, conflict management, public speaking, cultural competency, and professionalism.
- Advise the StAT, including regularly scheduled one-on-one coaching sessions with cohort members to discuss their progress, goals, and ways to improve.

This position works in the office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity, located within the Dean of Students Area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and provide Record Reviews upon students' request
- Review and respond to background checks by faculty for academic misconduct
- Adjudicate both AI and General Misconduct cases
- Help develop marketing strategies to share the SCAI story/Know the Code campaign
- Support and assist with conduct assessment projects
- Serve on at least one divisional committee

Women’s Resource Center @ Marietta - Graduate Assistant
The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) @ Marietta is a student resource center under the UNITY Center, located in the Wilson Student Center. We support students’ academic, personal, and professional performance and empower them to succeed by creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for learning. Our team works collaboratively and in partnership with the Women’s Resource Center in the Department of Cultural and Community Centers on the Kennesaw campus.
The Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Resource Center @ Marietta provides support for services, outreach, and workshops. This position works closely with the Coordinator of the UNITY Center and the Student Activities Marietta staff to provide a welcoming environment through comprehensive events and services that meet the needs of our students at the Marietta WRC. The graduate assistant and coordinator will collaborate with partners on the Kennesaw campus and Marietta to ensure our programming is aligned with heritage month and awareness celebrations.
Job Responsibilities
This position will assist with the day-to-day operations of the WRC @ Marietta, and coordinate events and services that address the needs of the Marietta campus students and aligns with major awareness campaigns for women empowerment. The graduate assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as staff of the WRC @ Marietta, providing a welcoming environment for students and assisting with their needs.
- Assist with Owl Life operations for the WRC, including creating events and tracking attendance.
- Assist in the development of WRC @ Marietta events
- Present or facilitate content/activities to student participants
- Assist with marketing efforts for the WRC @ Marietta, including digital, print, and social media.
