Project Sign In: Changes Begin July 29

This year, the way the campus community signs in to Microsoft applications will change. This update is part of KSU’s ongoing efforts to strengthen data security, protect your information, and give you more control over your accounts.

What to expect on July 29:

You will be signed out of all Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive. When you sign back in, the sign in screen will look different.

  • To avoid losing any work, we recommend saving your files on the evening of July 28.
  • Note: This change will not affect non-Microsoft applications like D2L, Owl Express, and OneUSG.

Benefits of this change:

  • Better protection for KSU data.
  • This is the first step on the journey toward a simpler sign in experience and easier password resets in the future.

University Information Technology Services (UITS) will continue to keep you informed and supported at every step along this journey, especially when action is required on your part.
